Central Park Gardens Open House and Plant Sale!

Central Park Gardens Open House and Plant Sale!

Plant starts waiting to be planted in your garden!

You’re invited to the Central Park Gardens 3rd Annual Open House and Plant Sale on Saturday, October 31st from 9:00 am to noon in Davis Central Park.  We hope you’ll come enjoy fall in the garden with us and celebrate the beginning of our best planting season.  A stroll through the gardens will reward you with great eco-friendly gardening information from Yolo County Master Gardeners, Project Compost, and least toxic pest control experts from the City of Davis.  We’ll have vegetable, flower, and native grass starts available for fall planting at our first ever plant sale to benefit the gardens (see plant list below).   We’ll also be sharing free wildflower seeds to plant now for beautiful spring blooms!

Central Park will be hopping on October 31st with lots of great food and fun family activities at the Davis Farmers Market Fall Festival plus the Avenue of the Scarecrows, an auction of fantastic scarecrows created by schoolchildren to benefit Davis school gardens.
