Thanks to Theta Chi for your pathway renovation help!

UC Davis student volunteers, include several fraternity brothers from Theta Chi helped renovate the Rose and Flower Garden pathways on Saturday, February 16th.  At 10 am, there was a mighty 5 cubic yard pile of wet and heavy decomposed granite.  Two hours of shoveling, wheelbarrowing, spreading, and compacting later, the garden paths looked brand new!  This new layer of decomposed granite will help make the paths more firm when they're wet and will reduce weed growth in the pathways.  Many thanks to all the volunteers who helped with this labor intensive project.
