What is Grad Night?

Grad Night is an all-night, drug and alcohol-free celebration for Davis’ graduating seniors. Graduates of Davis High School, Da Vinci High, King High School and the Davis School for Independent Study will spend the night of Friday, June 8, 2012 enjoying music, dancing, casino games, outdoor activities, a hypnotist show, karaoke, refreshments and a huge raffle. It promises to be an unforgettable night for our seniors, the perfect sendoff after 13 years hard work.

Who Sponsors Grad Night?

Grad Night is accomplished through the energy, creativity, time and money of the Senior parents with support from the community. It is a party that we, as parents, give as a parting gift to our graduating children.

Who Attends Grad Night?

Traditionally, 90 to 95 percent of the graduates attend this incredible, fun party held at Emerson Junior High School. Grad Night is a time for the class of 2012 to be together for one last time.  Only Davis graduates can attend Grad Night – no friends from other schools or underclassmen. Grad Night begins after Davis High School graduation on Friday evening and continues until 5:00 a.m. on Saturday morning.

Can I Donate Items to Grad Night?

Your contributions are not only welcome and appreciated, but also, greatly needed.  Besides, many things that we could use for decorating are things that you may have around your house and no longer need and/or wouldn't mind lending.  Click here (Donate/Lend Items) to see some of the things that we are currently seeking.  We will be regularly updating this link, so feel free to check back and encourage your friends to do the same.  

How Can I Get Involved?

We would love to see every parent of every graduating senior take part in creating this unforgettable Grad Night for our students. A party of this magnitude doesn’t just happen … it’s pulled together by legions of volunteer parents, each of whom can contribute in some small way to make Grad Night a night to remember.

No skill is required! Your willingness to paint, sew, cut, and paste great decorations while renewing old friendships and having fun is all that is required. We have numerous committees organizing activities, entertainment, decorations and food that you can join.

Please get involved. It is our gift and the community's gift to our children. Together, we can make it an incredible finale to our children’s high school years (and have lots of fun in the process!) Click here for Volunteer Information.
