The Davis Chinese Association held its eighth annual Scholarship Awards Reception at International House in Davis on May 20, 2017 to honor its scholarship recipients.

Since 2005, the Davis Chinese Association has awarded over $47,000 in merit-based scholarships to graduating seniors from Davis Senior High School. The recipients submitted their application including an essay about growing up as a Chinese American in the United States.
