The Outstanding Educator awardees have, through their individual qualities, made an outstanding contribution to the educational experience at DHS.

Outstanding Student Award recipients (not posted online) are seniors who have been nominated by faculty members, must have enriched DHS, have a positive attitude toward all student groups, exhibited good citizenship, and maintained a GPA above 2.5. Awards in the amount of $350 are offered to 3 outstanding graduating students.

The Outstanding Parent Volunteer awardees have, through their demonstrated outstanding service to the high school community, been awarded this honor in their last year at DHS.

Nominations are sought annually from anyone affiliated with DHS, including students. Forms are available online. The deadline will be announced in the March or April newsletters.
