The DHS combo received the 2nd place award at the 2006 Sac State /CMEA Winter Jazz Festival. The adjudicators praised combo members for their organic sound and passion, and choice of music. The four member combo includes Benny Amon, Tyler Chuck, Alex Reiff and Michelle Rabowsky. They were thanked by one of the adjudicators for "taking us into that spiritual zone."
