Our "Fourth Band"
Homecoming: Alumni, Streakers and Rock & Roll Part II... |
| The DHS Pep Band, led by a Ninja Turtle, played for a full house of blue and white clad Devils' fans. Band alumni climbed over frogs, spiderman, fairies and pirates to rounds of "Happy Birthday, Dear Julie". Visiting band alumni included Byron, Greg, Billy and Julie. Other activities on the field kept the crowd busy, the Blues Brothers trying to catch a football, saxaphones and tubas doing pushups... oh, and streakers darting across the field. It could have been the 70s. Music included Basketcase, Cortez, You can call me Al, China Grove, Do you love me, Rock and roll part II . Best of all, the Blue Devils beat the Yuba City Honkers 28-0! |
