"Low Strung" is a group of 12 undergraduates from Yale who play rock and roll on the cello. They play rock from the 1960s to 2018, with cellos doing the "vocals", rhythm and the everything else. The group has been around for a dozen years with a three newcomers and three graduating seniors each year.

Han-ah Sumner from Davis has been a member for four years now. Han-ah played cello with the Sacramento Youth Symphony, the Davis High Symphony Orchestra and the UCD Symphony Orchestra while growing up in Davis. Each year Low Strung does a Spring Break Tour to the home town or region of a member.  This year is Davis and Northern California.
