Saturday, we were at the Sacramento Convention Center.  We beat Jumpstart (the very team we lost to last Sunday, missing our shot at JO's) and Odyssey.  We lost to Hang Ten (the same team we beat last weekend to become #2 for a split-second).  This put us second in our pool, so we went to the top half of our division for Sunday.

Let’s just start out by saying that we had the most exciting and heart wrenching weekend ever.  The girls played their hearts out.  On Saturday, we played 3 matches.  The team had 29 kills with Teaghan Phillips contributing 10 kills.  We also had 21 serving aces and 63 digs.  Laura Turold had 24 digs and Jolie Law had 8 aces.  On Sunday, the girls really wanted to go to three games in each match.  We ended playing 5 matches that day.  They love making the games exciting to watch.  We had 62 team kills, 12 team blocks, 51 serving aces, 42 set assists, and an amazing 210 digs.  Laura Turold had 47 digs and Caroline Peters had 44.  Both Hilary Parsons and Erica Peters had 41 digs.  Teaghan Phillips added 16 kills, Freddie Brandt had 15 and Katie Bunch had 14.  Freddie also dominated the net with 7 solo blocks.  Nice job girls.  We started the weekend at #33 and finished #16.
