First, the Harper Band Boosters is a parent volunteer group.  We provide manpower support for concerts and special events, such as the Davis Junior High Bands Festival. 

Second, the Harper Band Boosters raise funds to bridge the gap between the school district's budget and the needs of our Band program.  We raise additional funds for the purchase and repair of instruments, sheet music, equipment, and other classroom materials.  Administrative work is performed by parent volunteers at no cost to the organization.

Our goal:  to assist the Band Director deliver a rich music curriculum to Harper band students that meets the high standards of the other outstanding middle school band programs in the Davis school district.  We want Band to be a fun and educationally rewarding experience at Harper Junior High.

Band parents, please consider taking an active role in supporting the Band program.  WHY??? Because...in 2007-08, our organization will support activities for 142 students!  We look forward to new parents, new leadership and  the influx of your new ideas, energy, and enthusiasm.  Contact us to volunteer.
