The Mission:

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers, guided by its Congressional Charter and Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victim if disaster and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies.

The American Red Cross of Yolo County has been providing services to the residents of Yolo since the late 1800s. The Red Cross Club on the UC Davis Campus was founded in 2004 by motivated students who wanted to spread the mission of the Red Cross.

In just a few short years, the Red Cross Club has grown to over 100 members. The club participates in a variety of events ranging from community service projects, CPR and first aid training, and they even help out when there is a local disaster.
