Heart of the Home and Project Safe

Red Cross Club members,

I hope you all have had a great week. This e-mail is a little long, so bare with me it contains important information.

I need the names of the people who are going to be volunteering as docents for Heart of the Home on May 2nd. I have to give the names to the Yolo Chapter by COB (4:30pm) today. Just a reminder those who volunteer can purchase a ticket for ONLY $10, so you can see the other amazing houses, eat delicious food and meet amazing community members. This is the 2nd largest fundraiser for Yolo County Red Cross!! The normal price for the tickets are $25 presale/$35 day of the event.

We need multiple people per shift from our club to make this event a success. The shifts are as follows:

8:30-11:00-

10:45-1:45-

1:30-4:00-

--Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday The Yolo Chapter(120 Court St, Woodland) will need help with last minute preparations for Heart of the Home.

Also, I need the names of those wanting to volunteer for project safe, which is on May 8th. Remember you will need to get a background check started asap, it is very simple to do and should be reimbursed for the cost. Also you need to have a current TB test, within the last year, this can be done at Cowell Student Health Center. If you are interested please e-mail me no later than Sunday evening if you can volunteer.

Remember the background check and TB will be needed if you want to volunteer later as one of our mentors for the JR High and High School Clubs. If you were thinking you might want to participate in that program, you will already have all the requirements fulfilled!!!

Lastly, if you have any items to donate to Baskets of Love, please let me know and I will come and pick them up for you. If you would like the Letters or Donations suggestion list, let me know and I will e-mail them to you.

Thank you all so much for your dedication to our club.

Have a great weekend!!
