Today was the day I would try to snowboard for the first time. My mom didn’t want me to but I was totally up for it. We went to Boreal because it is the easiest resort to start ski or snowboarding. Anyway, I went with my Mom and rented the snowboard with boots coming with it. My mom was renting skis. Anyhow I went to a super small and easy lift but the line took forever. It took only five minutes to get to the top. I had some trouble getting off the lift but got off the lift eventually. I hooked my boots to my rented snowboard. And took off down the snow hill. No sooner had I started that I fell down. An hour later we went to the lodge to have lunch. As usually my mom brought boiled hotdogs from home. I went to get some ketchup as I always do at Boreal for my hotdogs. It felt pretty comfortable walking around in my boots after snowboarding. After we finished lunch we went back to the car and drove back to Davis. On the way home we stopped by Baskin Robbins for ice cream. After that we drove to my house and I fell into a deep refreshing sleep.
