VP- Assistant to the President

Overview of role

The VP serves as second in line to the president, as representative of parent leaders on our campus & of our school at the district level.

Responsibilities/Tasks

  1. Attend monthly SIPAT Board meetings
  2. Write agenda/submit for publication in newsletter one week in advance of meeting (1/2 with Pres)
  3. Conduct monthly Board meeting (1/2 with Pres)
  4. Assist the President & Principal in managing parent/teacher relations
  5. Coordinate the newly recruited parent volunteers, by distributing & collecting the “Volunteer Form”, tabulating & connecting the volunteers with appropriate lead coordinators.
  6. Assist Nominating Committee in recruitment for Board positions
  7. Assist recruiting volunteers for coordinator positions
