Fiesta
An annual campus wide celebration to display food, entertainment, crafts & skills typical in various Spanish speaking countries.
Where:
- CCE campus – MPR, hallways outside each classroom, stage/cafeteria
When:
- An all day Saturday event toward the end of the school year (May/June)
Why:
- Display various traditional activities of various Spanish speaking countries
- Display entertainment from various Spanish speaking countries
- Serve traditional Spanish speaking country cuisine
- Celebrate the uniqueness of our school for teaching Spanish Immersion
Who:
- Organized by a group of parent/staff volunteers
- Each classroom sponsors a booth led by the rooms Room Rep and run by class parent volunteers
- Individual classes often take on fundraising activities (6th grade typically sells popsicles and/or drinks
- All SI students, parents, friends & staff
