Willett Elementary School has an active PTA providing programs that enrich our children’s education and promote positive home and school relations. The PTA provides financial support for student clubs such as the Publications Club, the Challenge Club, and Chorus. We publish the weekly school newsletter Who’s News, and the school directory and student newspaper, as well as offering the Willett listserv to facilitate email communication with parents.

The PTA funds assemblies and the Garden of Learning program, and provides supplemental funding for the library, reading, science, physical education, technology, and outdoor education programs. We also host the Back-to-School Picnic, the Welcome Coffee on the first day of school, a welcome coffee for new families, parent education nights and teacher appreciation luncheons. We support all these with both our financial resources and volunteer time. 

We invite you to attend our monthly meetings, held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm in the Staff Room adjacent to the school office. Each meeting, our principal updates us on recent news and committee members report their progress on upcoming programs and events. Minutes of our meetings are posted on the Willett PTA website and monthly news updates are provided in Who’s News.
