Willett Field Day

3rd-6th graders spend the morning on the playground and field areas participating in events such as the baseball toss, basketball obstacle course, the long jump, arena tag, and the water balloon toss. K-3rd graders travel in their regular class from one event to another whereas 4th-6th graders are split into mixed grade level groups with one teacher as a leader. Parents help to run each of the 14 stations.

Also part of the Willett Field Day are the relay races and tug-of-war competitions that occur between the 4th grade classes, the 5th grade classes and the 6th grade classes. These events usually take place on the next day in the afternoon. This event is usually held in June on the last Friday and the last Monday of the school year.
