Carnegie concert dress guidelines

posted 4/2/17 From the email: For women: Longer-sleeved black dresses, or black skirts and blouses, with a dress or skirt length over the knee when seated. Black dress pants and a longer-sleeved black blouse are also OK. Black nylons, tights or socks should be worn with comfortable, black dress shoes (you may be wearing them for quite a while). The general goal is to cover as much skin as possible, to present a fairly uniform look on stage. For men: Black tuxedo coat and pants (no cumberbun), or dressy black suit coat and pants, with white shirt and black bow tie. Black socks and black dress shoes.
