ACLU Yolo County

The Yolo County Chapter of the ACLU was reactivated in January, 2016. As of February, 2017 we have six Board members. The ACLU of Northern CA is the affiliate for all northern CA chapters. The web site is full of timely information about the organization's activities, including impact litigation, advocacy and lobbying. www.aclunca.org We convene monthly Board meetings and schedule events throughout the year addressing civil liberties issues, from surveillance and data privacy to religious freedom. We defend and protect all the guarantees provided by the U.S. Constitution. This year we plan to offer house meetings, book readings, Know Your Rights training and several other events about the U.S. Constitution. However, we do not provide legal counsel.
