About the DHS Daily Bulletin

General information and submission guidelines.

Daily Bulletins are made up of school-related announcements intended for students. They are compiled by DHS staff, not PTA. Besides broadcasted via the PA system, read or posted in class, they are also posted at the school's office, library, and website. Students are encouraged to be resourceful and to keep themselves informed.

Parents often find the Daily Bulletins informative too. To receive them directly via e-mail, please fill out a simple form to sign up for the Daily Bulletin Listserver. The listserver is administered by DHS PTA as a special service for high school families. The DHS secretary  kindly sends it out in the afternoon of the preceding school day.

Announcements for inclusion in the Daily Bulletin need to be sent directly to DHS secretary to msalisbury@djusd.k12.ca.us. Please DON'T send submissions for non-school events even if they are geared towards students because they won't be included in the bulletin. Please submit two school days prior to the start day and specify the start and end days. Keep the announcements succinct in order to limit the amount of class time needed to read the bulletin to the students.
