Old North Themed Street Signs May Change
The area-themed street signs at our corners are also targets of theft and the original supply of them is nearing depletion at the same time that three more have recently been stolen.

The signs are paid for privately and the existing design is proving expensive to replace -- costing some $60 a sign even in volume. Consideration is therefore being given to moving to a simpler design that will cost much less. One possibility under consideration is shown here. It would, indeed, eliminate a separate sign by incorporating the reference to Old North Davis into the regular way-finding street sign.
