ONDNA Board Seeks To Reduce Mass of Proposed 515 G Building (23 July 18)

Participants in the ONDNA Board meeting of July 19 felt the new building proposed for 515 G was too massive and this was in part due to existing parking requirements.

Letter

The new Core Area plan envisions reduced parking requirements for new buildings in this area. Should those new standards be allowed at this time, the 515 G building could be redesigned with less mass.

On behalf of the ONDNA Board, John Meyer, Secretary, has asked the City of Davis Planning Department to consider reducing the 515 G parking requirement to the amount that is envisioned in the new plan.

A copy of Secretary Meyer’s letter to the City on this matter appears to the right on this page.
