June 15th Annual Meeting an Upbeat Success
Close to 20 Old North residents gathered Thursday, June 15th at the Hattie Weber for spirited discussion of neighborhood matters and election of officers for the 2017-18 year.
Under the revised ONDNA by-laws, Board members now serve staggered two year terms in which three members are serving the second year of a two year term and four people have begin new two year terms. The four newly elected members are Greg Frantz, John Lofland, Molly McCarthy, and John Meyer. (The continuing three are Dennis Dingemans, Steve Tracy, and Marilyn Underwood.)
Officers elected by the board from among these seven are Marilyn Underwood, President; Molly McCarthy, Vice-President; Greg Franz, Secretary; John Meyer, Treasurer; and, Dennis Dingemans, john Lofland and Steve Tracy, At Large.
Discussions included spirited focus on traffic calming and the appointment of Bret Hewit as coordinator of the ONDNA traffic calming project, which will focus in particular on the current traffic calming deliberations of the City's Commission on Bicycles, Transportation and Street Safety.
