I see recruitment of volunteers as the most challenging aspect of a volunteer program and would love to hear from anyone about their most successful recruitment strategy.

I recommend checking out the list of volunteer resources on this homepage; there are a lot of great examples of what other SUCCESSFUL organizations are doing with recruitment. CASA is a great volunteer management resource.

You reference a different site (not DCN's) for documentation of DCN's Volunteer Management Program. I looked at it and see it as a valuable resource but would like to see DCN create its own - using as many resources as possible of course. Is this the plan?

As part of DCN's VISTA Volunteer Management Program we will have a web page that will document our work, will also serve as one of our final reports, and with some editing, can be a resource page. We are using DCN's open plans site for this purpose at this time.
