On the third Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. Yolo Compassionate Friends meet in Davis at the Yolo Hospice offices, 1909 Galileo Court, Suite A. All parents who have suffered the loss of an infant, youth or adult child are welcome. Adult siblings are also welcome to attend.

Parents who suffer the death of a child often find that the people around them, while sympathetic and concerned, realize neither the depth of their grief nor its persistent effects. Through Yolo Compassionate Friends, families who have themselves experienced such a loss are able to offer other bereaved parents and siblings their friendship, understanding and hope.
