hive events at the Davis library

The following hive events at the Davis Branch of the Yolo County Public Library took place in May 2007:

  • Lecture by Eric Mussen, Ph.D., UCD Extension Apiculturist, took place on Thursday, May 10, 2007. 7:00 p.m.  Art and Science lecture series  produced by artist Melissa Wood.
  • Book Browsing Area in both Adult and Children’s Sections for new and selected honey bee related books - was available May 1 - May 30, 2007.  (Books are still available in the stacks!  Please ask for help from the reference librarian or use the internet catalog to find "honey bee" under keywords. )
  • Exhibition of honey bee related photographs and artifacts in Children’s Section and Adult Section of the library - took place May 1 - May 30, 2007
