Central Park Gardens has received, from the City of Davis, municipal art funds to create a new sculpture at the northern end of the gardens.  The artist duo Faducci has been selected to create the art piece.  The sculpture will be a whimsical rendering of a monarch butterfly caterpillar, and will be a kid-friendly piece.  The projected completion date is the end of October 2010.  Stay tuned for updates on this exciting new addtion to the gardens!
