On May 9th, we hosted our first annual Mother's Day Tea in the Garden and it was great!  Ciocolat provided delicious high tea service to 60 guests spread over three seatings.  Thanks to tents loaned from the Downtown Davis Business Association, our guests were able to enjoy the tea despite a few raindrops.  We raised over $1,000 for garden supplies and educational programs and provide a wonderful experience for many local moms.  Many thanks to those who came out to support the garden and to those who volunteered!  Mark you calendar for our next Mother's Day Tea in the Garden on Sunday, May 8, 2011!

Special thanks to Gail Morris and her daughter for providing beautiful handmade corsages for all the moms.  Thanks to Peg Smith, Jim Fowler, Jan Bower, and Carolyn Hinshaw for helping to sell plants during the event.  Thanks also to Jim and the Alpha Phi Omega volunteers for helping with set up and clean up.  Last but not least, thanks to Kate Hutchinson and the Ciocolat team for providing such wonderful food and service!
