On October 2nd, a group of Master Gardener volunteers installed 150 new plant labels in the Central Park Gardens.  These flexible laminated paper labels can be easily changed with changes in the plantings.  The labels are a key component of enhancing the educational value of the gardens.  They help answer the most common visitor question, which is, "What is that plant?"  Funding for the plant labels came from the Elvenia Slosson Endowment.
