Spring Planting adds over 400 new plants to the gardens
About 30 volunteers came to lend a hand on a sunny Saturday morning, April 26th, to help plant herbs, fruit trees, flowers, and natives throughout the themed gardens. A particular focus for the planting was our new Sensory Garden which features fragrant herbs, fruit trees, strawberries, and other tasty perennial edibles. Many of these plantings went into our four recently completed raised planters edged with stone seatwalls. Come take a stroll through the gardens to see the progress that was made and to test out the new seating in the Sensory Garden!
