Emerson Campus Parent Teacher Association
The Emerson Campus Parent Teacher Association supports students, parents, and teachers for Emerson Junior High School and DaVinci Charter Academy
The Emerson Campus PTA enriches our school learning environment by supporting each child’s education. We raise funds for annual teacher grants and school activities that benefit all students on our campus. In 2015-16 we awarded $12,661 in grants for teacher support that impacted our students in rewarding ways. These grants contributed to improving the school’s technology and audiovisual equipment, supporting curriculum with enriched reading material, and supplying needed PE equipment, among many other things. This is a perfect time to join us and get in at the beginning as we set our new priorities and goals. To help your child’s school community continue to thrive, we need YOU, our extraordinary parents and guardians!
Here’s what you can do:
- Give a direct donation of $150 (or whatever you can)
- Join the PTA
- Volunteer for a Committe
- Use Scrip and eScrip
This will enable us to fund teacher grants and provide important school services such as support for the Farm-to-School grant, school supplies for in-need students, support for the District’s Parent Ed initiative, teacher appreciation events and awards and the ninth grade graduation party. Click on the “GIVE A GIFT” button to the right.
It’s only $15. Have a “seat at the table” when important decisions are made. While PTA provides opportunities for every family to participate in its sponsored programs and events, only paid members have voting rights. Click on the “GIVE A GIFT” button to the right to join. PTA meetings are the second Tuesday of every month in the Emerson Library starting at 6:00.
The PTA has a few vacancies. If you don't see something and have a great idea for a way you can help, we would love to hear it! We would be so grateful for your help..
Scrip & eScrip is FREE MONEY for the PTA. Learn more about the programs and sign up with local and online merchants.
