Yolo County CASA: a progress report
November 2012 - On behalf of Yolo County CASA I am proud to share with the Yolo County community a report on our progress. We have been working very hard to ensure that our focus is on providing the best possible support to our advocates as they provide such wonderful compassionate care to the children they serve.

Passage of Ming Shyong Yang
We have more sad news from our DCA community. Ming Shyong Yang passed away on July 21, 2012 at the age of 73. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to his wife Susie, daughters Irene and Faye and their families.
Passage of Chih-Kang Shen
We have very sad news in our Davis Chinese Association community. Chih-Kang (C.K.) Shen passed away on July 17, 2012, peacefully at home surrounded by his family, wife Mamie and daughter Carol. He had an intimate and private burial at the Davis Cemetery on July 22, with 40 relatives and close friends in attendance.
