1) Be aware of the incense Head Trip,which we were told is/was sold at Illusions in Davis. Head Trip is a synthetic cannibis that can be bought legally in CA; it is also known as K2 or Spice.   The incense products carry a label "Not for Human Consumption" but kids disregard the warning and purchase the products to smoke them. Head Trip can cause seizures and other serious side effects.

 

2) You can help keep upcoming dances substance- free by talking to your teen ahead of time and making sure they arrive at the event sober. This takes some of the burden off school officials and volunteers who are trying to keep everyone safe.
