Harper Band Boosters Mission

The Harper Band Boosters is a parent volunteer group that provides support for concerts and special events. The Band Boosters also raise funds to bridge the gap between the school district's budget and the needs of our Band program.  We raise additional funds for the purchase and repair of instruments, sheet music, equipment, and other classroom materials.  Administrative work is performed by parent volunteers at no cost to the organization.

Our goal is to assist the Band Director deliver a rich music curriculum to Harper band students that meets the high standards of the other outstanding junior high school band programs in the Davis school district.  We want Band to be a fun and educationally rewarding experience at Harper Junior High.

Please consider taking an active role in supporting the Band program.  We need your help to continue the tradition of excellent music education at Harper Junior High.  We look forward to new parents, new leadership and the support of your new ideas, energy, and enthusiasm.  Contact us to volunteer.  Subscribe to the band listserv and stay informed.  Receive announcements and reminders for the Band Program from the Band Director and the Harper Band Boosters by email.  Join our listserv.  Be sure to also sign up to receive the Harper Daily Bulletin for notices from the Harper PTO.  For campus-wide news and information, visit the Harper PTO website for up-to-date and informative resource for all Harper families!  All band parents are welcome to join our meetings.  Can't make it to the meetings?  Contact Us with your questions and comments or to volunteer for a special event.  We'd love to hear from you!

Next Band Booster Meeting is Thursday, May 10, 2012. 

Band Boosters meet on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM in room C-16, the Harper music room.
