Two New Papers in the Davis History Series
DHS Publications Commitee Chair announces publication of papers numbers 5 and 6 in the Papers on Davis History Series.
--
As chair of the DHS publications committee, I'm pleased to
announce
two new additions to our Papers on Davis History series.
Paper #5: "A 1920s-50's Student District in Davis, California" by
John Lofland
Paper #6: "The Henry Stelling Family of Davisville: A
Dresbach-Hunt-Boyer Mansion Family" by Valerie Vann.
Both papers can be read and/or downloaded by going to
http://www.davishistoricalsociety.org and clicking on 1.3 under
"Navigation."
We hope to have Paper #4 "Davis Politics 1971-72" by Carol Dixon
on
the site later this month. The plan then, is to issue a
press
release to the Enterprise in early January announcing the three
new
papers, describing the full list, and encouraging submissions.
But
in the meantime, please feel free to forward this email to anyone
you
think might be interested in these two new publications and/or
the
other papers in the series.
Best wishes for the holidays,
Lyn Lofland
