Once in 1990 my cat was a kitten. The neighbors snuck into his yard and
put up a sign. It said “vote for Albert charisma you can count on.” One
day a reporter was dropping by. She wondered who Albert was because
there was no Albert running for city council. So she walked up to my
dad’s door and knocked on it and asked my dad who is Albert? He said it
was his cat. She took a picture for the newspaper of Albert in front of
his lawn sign. It was on the front page of the Davis Enterprise. Albert
is now a very wise old cat.
