ENGLISH VERSION One day, I was in the Turkey Trot Race. I ran the
race with my dad and my brother, and it was the 22nd of November 2006.
It was in Downtown Davis, aside the Farmer's Market. We did the Turkey
Trot because we wanted to have fun, and we ran a lot! We left the house
at 7:30 in the morning to walk to the Turkey Trot. We got to the Turkey
Trot at 8:05. Before we started, we did some stretches. We reached up,
we reached down, and to reach side to side, and to do it...like five
times. And then, we started running. I had a lot of fun, because it was
my first race. We ran past the train tracks, and we ran in Downtown
Davis. We also ran past my house on B Street! My mom was outside the
house to give some waters to us, and to give milk to my brother. We ran
past Rainbow City, and past some girls selling Gatorade. Later, we came
to the finish line. And somebody with a microphone said my name! My mom
was there, and then we went to the moonbouces. It was very fun. And I
was the youngest person in the race! And then, we went to have
breakfast at Ciocolat. It was a very fun day.
Y después, empezamos a correr.
