Hike (1A). Bassi Falls

Given the heavy snow pack the falls should be gushing spectacularly.  And wildflowers may be abundant.  For a really cool adventure we can swim in the pools below the falls.  We hike a loop from near Union Valley Reservoir, up through the forest and back along the stream.  The hike is about 5 miles with about 500 ft. elevation gain.  Bring lunch, water, and essentials.  Contact the leader for meeting time and place. No dogs.  Rain cancels.  Leader: Jim Cramer, (530) 756-3973 or cramerjc@gmail.com.
